Leading power industry event announces first keynotes

25th anniversary of principal power industry event to provide expert insight

POWER-GEN Europe and Renewable Energy World Europe 2017, the leading conference and exhibition for the international power and renewable industries, has today unveiled two stand-out keynote speakers. The milestone 25th anniversary event is taking place at the Koelnmesse in Cologne from the 27 - 29th June 2017 and more speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.


Francesco Venturini, CEO and General Manager, Enel Green Power, and Kristian Ruby, Secretary General, EURELECTRIC will be setting the scene of the conference. On the first day of the show, the two guests will present the joint opening keynote session, which will cover key themes such as digitalisation, energy storage and cyber security.

The two highly regarded power experts will be addressing the core theme of this years show, which is: ‘making sense of power as Europes power sector redesigns itself in the digital age.
