Anaheim, California (23rd May 2017) Xtreme Manufacturing and Snorkel will introduce their products to the wind energy industry at the annual AWEA Windpower Show, taking place in Anaheim, California from May 23rd to 25th, 2017.
Las Vegas-based Xtreme Manufacturing will showcase the Xtreme XR2045 telehandler that can lift loads up to 20,000 lbs. (9,071kg), and can lift loads up to a height of 45 ft. (13.7m). Sister company, Snorkel, will show its heavy-duty TB86J telescopic boom lift, that has a maximum working height of 92 ft. (28m), and a capacity of 500 lbs. (227kg) designed to safely carry two operators plus tools and equipment to work at height.
Xtreme XR2045: Built for the Toughest Environments
The Xtreme XR2045 is a high capacity rough terrain telehandler, designed to handle the toughest environments and jobsites. Weighing in at 44,750 lbs. (20,300kg), this heavy-duty, all-steel telehandler can lift up to 20,000 lbs. (9,071kg), and has a forward reach of up to 27 ft. 4 in. (8.3m). It shares the same standard features as the rest of the Xtreme telehandler range, including 360° operator visibility from the cab, long-life boom rollers instead of wear pads for smoother boom operation and reduced maintenance, plus an integrated boom lift point.
The boom lift point is designed to safely handle suspended loads and can lift the maximum rated load of the telehandler. This makes it ideal for applications such as lifting turbine blades during the transportation process from the manufacturing facility to the site.
All Xtreme telehandlers are backed by an industry leading 10 year-5 year-2 year warranty, and are built in the USA.
Xtreme Cubes: Practical Solutions for Jobsite Facilities
Built by Xtreme Manufacturing in the USA, Xtreme Cubes are portable, fully customizable structures that can be used for a wide range of temporary and permanent applications. Utilizing a steel frame that is structurally sound, known as a ‘space frame and fork lift pockets, the cubes can be stacked or combined to create an unlimited range of multi-story facilities. They can be easily disassembled, transported and reassembled, with minimal cost and in a short time frame.
The heavy-duty design means they can be used in all types of environments, making them ideal for offices, storage and maintenance facilities in wind turbine farms, as well as restrooms for transportation and logistics yards, and security gatehouses for manufacturing plants.
Xtreme Cubes can also be used to create temporary and permanent residential facilities, including living quarters for installation teams in remote environments. The cubes can be fitted out with windows, insulation, interior paneling and trim, electricity, plumbing, HVAC and data, allowing the installation of fully functioning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces with TV, internet and other modern comforts, providing a practical and economical on-site alternative to hotels for temporary workers.
