SPI 2016 - SOLAREDGE PRESENTS EXPANDED PV SOLUTIONS AT SOLAR POWER INTERNATIONAL

As part of the companys commercial solution expansion, SolarEdge is launching its highest wattage power optimizer - the P800, which improves its commercial power optimizer offering. Installers can now connect even higher-wattage modules in a 2-to-1 configuration in commercial projects, thus reducing installation time on the roof, lowering part count, and increasing system energy production.

Las Vegas, Nevada (September 12, 2016) - SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. ("SolarEdge") (NASDAQ: SEDG), a global leader in PV inverters, power optimizers, and module-level monitoring services, is showcasing at SPI its expanded PV solutions to further simplify PV installation.

As part of the companys commercial solution expansion, SolarEdge is launching its highest wattage power optimizer - the P800, which improves its commercial power optimizer offering. Installers can now connect even higher-wattage modules in a 2-to-1 configuration in commercial projects, thus reducing installation time on the roof, lowering part count, and increasing system energy production. The expansion also includes new monitoring capabilities to improve PV asset management with the launch of a new commercial cellular solution that directly integrates with weather stations and Revenue Grade Meters (RGMs) that are available from SolarEdge. Enabling monitoring via GSM networks and display of revenue-grade data, the solution is designed to improve connectivity and data accuracy for commercial sites in the SolarEdge monitoring platform.
As part of its smart energy management solution, SolarEdge is increasing the capabilities of its StorEdge™ offering for self-consumption and backup power. StorEdge™ now supports double battery installations for twice the power and twice the energy.

Adding to its power optimizer line, SolarEdge is launching a new series of frame-mounted power optimizers to allow faster mounting on rail-less installations. The power optimizers have a modified bracket that allows attachment and grounding directly to the module frame.
For smart modules incorporating the industrys leading power optimizer technology, SolarEdge will be displaying a new generation power optimizer for module manufacturers. The new generation integrated power optimizer solution features a lower-profile design with new snap-in technology for manufacturing flexibility and easy serviceability.

SolarEdge is beginning initial limited shipments of its award-winning HD-Wave technology inverter, which was originally unveiled at SPI in 2015. Using a novel power conversion technology, the HD-Wave technology inverter is ≤7.6kW, ≤25.3lb, has 99% efficiency and excellent reliability.
