Texas Parks And Wildlife Makes The Switch To Solar Power Thanks To Alba Energy
Sea Center Texas Is Now Powered By A Rooftop Solar Panel Installation Thanks To Alba Energy
Alba Energy is proud to announce a beautiful new solar project installed for Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD). A 21 kW photovoltaic (PV) solar power system now powers TPWDs Sea Center location, a marine aquarium, fish hatchery and education center located in Lake Jackson, Texas.
"As a facility that is strongly committed to the conservation of our natural resources, the adoption of solar power will provide clean energy and serve as a powerful tool for our educational and outreach programs," said David Abrego, Facility Director with Sea Center Texas.
The installation uses 80 PV solar panels attached to the roof of the facility. With approximately 28,000 kilowatt-hours of clean energy expected to be produced each year, Sea Center employees and visitors will be delighted by the big and bold Texas sun with each new day.
"Our installation with Texas Parks and Wildlife allows us both to display a strong commitment to resource conservation," said Graeme Walker, CEO of Alba Energy. "The new solar array at Sea Center Texas is another exceptionally designed renewable energy system by our team of solar experts," added Walker.
