Hydropower experts convene for the 8th year in the Exhibition Center Salzburg from November 24th-25th, 2016.

Salzburg, 8th June, 2016 The 8th RENEXPO® INTERHYDRO conference and trade fair in the Exhibition Center Salzburg is a hub of innovation for the entire hydropower sector throughout Europe and the continents leading hydropower industry meeting point. Regional government minister Dr. Josef Schwaiger is this years event patron.

Over 140 exhibitors, 600 conference participants and 3,000 visitors are expected to attend. Due to the large number of repeat visitors from last years trade fair in 2015, more than 50 exhibitors from eleven European nations have already booked their exhibition space, including Aqual Helica, Danner Wasserkraftanlagen, Dive Turbinen, ErneuEner Plus GmbH, Flexim, FPI, Geppert Hydropower, Global Hydro, Kronauer, Hennlich, HpDSA, HTI, Kuhn, Next Kraftwerke, Rehart Power, Rittmeyer, Schiebel, Walter Schuhmann, Seamtec, SEW Eurodrive, Stocker Mechatronik, Superlit, Verbund, Walter Reist Holding and Warnecke Consult. With such strong representation from leaders in the sector, the event is clearly one of the top networking destinations for the hydropower industry.

This years conference will focus on the themes of "virtual power plants, the balancing energy market and flexibility". A full program of six conferences, three seminars and a workshop will examine all the various economic and ecological aspects of hydropower. The 2nd European Hydropower Industry Meeting and the informative Operator Practice Forum will once again build the central core of the hydropower conference. As in previous years, the hydropower consultants of the State of Salzburg will be on site, and the excursion to the Lehen Hydropower Plant will once again be one of the events popular highlights. Moderated hydropower visitor forums and informative interviews with hydropower specialists complete the comprehensive program.
The RENEXPO® INTERHYDRO will open on Thursday, November 24th, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event begins with the energy talk and press tour. Some of the other highlights include the hydro networking evening and the RENERGY-HYDRO Award ceremony. The trade fair will be open on Friday, November 25th, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:99 p.m.
