11th Annual Ocean Renewable Energy Conference Embarks on Second Decade of Leadership, Experience, and Solutions

et to usher in a new decade of marine energy progress and results, the Oregon Wave Energy Trust (OWET) today announces that the 11th annual Ocean Renewable Energy Conference (OREC) will convene in Portland on September 21 and 22, bringing together key industry developers and suppliers, researchers, utilities, and government officials from around the globe.
"For ten years, OREC has helped bring a nascent industrys challenges and opportunities into focus, and together we have made phenomenal progress," said Jason Busch, OWET executive director. "Now we begin a second decade of work at OREC XI, committed to leveraging the leadership and experience of our presenters, panelists, and attendees to yield solutions that will pave the path for marine renewables."
Since its founding in 2006, OREC has been the ideal place to share ideas and experience, and forge alliances. Now with a wider regional and technological foundation, and with Oregon firmly established as a center for marine energy research and development, the event is ready to offer practical value for participants in a full range of industry-related positions.
