altE Adds National Electric Code Review Workshop Day to 2016 Annual Solar Installer Conference

Solar National Electric Code Expert, Dr. Sean White, to provide interactive class for solar installers and electric code inspectors at altEs 2016 Annual Solar Installer Conference

altE, a leading supplier of solar panels and solar power equipment, announced the addition of a workshop to its 2016 Solar Installer Conference, February 23-25 at the Holiday Inn in Boxborough, MA, focusing on the National Electric Code, its interpretations and how it affects solar electric system installs in the United States.

The five hour class will be taught by 2014 IREC Trainer of Year, Dr. Sean White, who has taught photovoltaic training classes throughout North America. The additional workshop, to be held on February 25th, will be provided at no additional cost to attendees and qualifies for continuing education credits from the solar professional certification organization, NABCEP.
"The addition of the NEC workshop is another great example of altE driving learning value to the solar professional," said Sascha Deri, CEO of altE. "Code requirements for solar installations are evolving quickly, sometimes creating confusion for installers, local town electrical inspectors and even the manufacturers themselves. This workshop will help address both questions about the 2014 National Electric Code and expectations for the future 2017 code requirements."
The solar electric code workshop joins the two other days of technical classes designed especially for solar installers, display booths from over 20 globally known solar and wind energy manufacturers, and even a hard cider tasting event from the local Harvard Hard Cider.
The 2016 altE Installer and Dealer Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn Boxborough, MA, just an hour from Boston. The Holiday Inn Boxborough is less than 2 miles from altEs corporate offices and is conveniently located off I-495, exit 28 at 242 Adams Place, Boxborough, MA.
