LAS VEGAS — The nations foremost clean energy conversation will return to Las Vegas for the eighth year with "National Clean Energy Summit 8.0: Powering Progress" at Mandalay Bay Resort Convention Center Monday, Aug. 24. Clean energy advocates, business leaders, public officials and bipartisan decision makers will assemble this year to converse about how the U.S. continues the advancement of the clean energy economy through innovation, investment and strengthened collaboration.


"Im very pleased to host the National Clean Energy Summit in Nevada for the eighth year and to continue a constructive dialogue about clean energy progress in our country," said Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid. "Discussions like those that take place during the summit have been vital to achieving the rapid expansion of clean energy and innovation in this nation and beyond. We look forward to continuing the momentum this year with a dynamic lineup of speakers and panelists united to bring clean energy issues to the forefront."

The annual conference is co-sponsored by Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Center for American Progress, the Clean Energy Project, MGM Resorts International and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. A diverse set of respected policymakers and industry leaders will participate as speakers and panelists in "National Clean Energy Summit 8.0: Powering Progress." Past speakers at the summit include Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, John Podesta, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elon Musk and many more. More information about panels and speakers will follow.
