Intersolar Europe Exhibitions - Energy Storage

STORE THE SUNS ENERGY AND SAVE MONEY – LOWER PRICES AND STATE INCENTIVES MAKE PHOTOVOLTAIC STORAGE SYSTEMS EVEN MORE ATTRACTIVE

Solar storage system costs dropped by a quarter last year. This development and the low-interest loans and repayment grants (up to 30%) provided by the KfW bank for photovoltaic installations with battery storage systems suggest that the number of PV system owners who also install storage devices will continue to grow.

Battery storage systems boost the amount of solar power that can be consumed on site and ease the burden on the power grid. Over 15,000 German households are already reaping the benefits of solar storage systems. This technology enables domestic users to cover a significant proportion of their electricity requirements using their own solar installations, even in the evening, allowing them to wave goodbye to rising electricity prices.

Innovative storage solutions for private and commercial use
The Intersolar and ees Europe exhibitions are showcasing the entire spectrum of innovative storage solutions in Munich from June 10-12, 2015. Expert presentations at the ees Forum on all three days of the exhibition keep visitors up to date with the latest industry news and information. The program for the ees Europe Conference, which takes place from June 9-10, 2015, includes global market analyses, technological innovations, private and commercial applications as well as topics relating to battery production and safety.
