Array Technologies Commissions Ramona and Valley Center Solar Sites
ATI completes two sites for a total of 19.5 MWdc in Southern California
Array Technologies is pleased to announce completion of the DuraTrack™ HZ single-axis solar tracker supply for the Ramona and Valley Center Solar Sites. Developed by GCL, the projects were constructed by engineering, procurement and construction company Blattner Energy. Both sites, located just east of Escondido, California, will provide renewable power for San Diego Gas & Electric under a power purchase agreement (PPA).
The DuraTrack HZ was chosen for both of these projects based on its unmatched flexibility, ability to squeeze into tight spots and maximize ground coverage ratio (GCR). Engineered to optimize layout on any given piece of land, even those with irregular property lines such as Ramona and Valley Center, the DuraTrack HZ fits into tight corners while offering the easy-to-install reliability that the industry has come to expect from Array Technologies, Inc.
The DuraTrack HZ system is the most widely-deployed single-axis tracker in the world to date. Nearly two gigawatts of the horizontal tracking system have been shipped and installed in solar projects across the globe.
