Powerway South Africa & Shoals Technologies Group Sign Strategic Alliance Agreement for South Africa Photovoltaic Market

Powerway and Shoals will work hand in hand to provide local solutions to EPC's and solar farm developers in the South African and the Sub-Saharan market.

August 2013 - Shoals Technologies Group, the global leader in photovoltaic OEM and balance of systems components, and Powerway Renewable Energy, one of the world's leading suppliers of mounting structures,and System Integrator, proudly announce the signing of a strategic alliance agreement with the long-term perspective to jointly develop the photovoltaic market in South Africa and other countries in the African continent.


Through the strategic alliance Shoals Technologies Group and Powerway Solar Solutions South Africa have established a joint venture enabling the production of Shoals' industry leading balance of systems components, at a newly acquired state of the art facility in Coega, Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
