Leading Renewables Business Shortlisted For Industry Awards

The UK's leading reneable energy heating company Ice Energy Technologies has been shortlisted in two categories at the forthcoming Renewables Awards.

Ice Energy Technologies is today celebrating being shortlisted for two major industry awards. The UK's leading renewable energy heating company has been nominated in the Ground Source Installer of the Year and the Contribution to Renewables categories of the Renewable Awards which will be held in September.

While the Ground Source Installer of the Year category focuses specifically on the supply and installation of Ground Source Heat Pumps from a company perspective, the Contribution to Renewables award recognises the individual achievements of a person who has demonstrated the most significant contribution to renewables, in this case Ice Energy Managing Director Andrew Sheldon.

"Obviously I'm delighted that Ice Energy has been shortlisted for the Ground Source award which I feel is recognition of the hard work and influence that Ice Energy has had on the UK market since introducing ground source heat pumps over a decade ago" said Mr. Sheldon.

"I am both happy and humbled to be shortlisted for the Contribution to Renewables Award; it's a real honour to even be considered. Anyone who knows me understands how passionate I am on the subject of renewables and in my belief that renewable energy and heat pumps in particular can have a huge bearing on the way in which homes in the UK are heated in the years to come.

Hopefully, this nomination is a sign that people believe that what I have been saying for the past 12 years makes sense and that I have been spreading a worthwhile message which is reward in itself."

Ice Energy was awarded the Heat Efficient Installer of the Year accolade at last year's Renewable Awards and will be hoping to repeat that success at this year's ceremony which takes place in Coventry's Ricoh Arena on September 13th.
