Been awarded a blanket purchase order from Electric Vehicles International (EVI) for the supply of electro hydraulic steering system units for a fleet of walk-in delivery trucks being supplied to United Parcel Service (UPS), for deployment in California this year.
CANTON, MI (February 21, 2012) Danotek Motion Technologies (Danotek), a developer and manufacturer of highly efficient and reliable permanent magnet (PM) rotating equipment for the global wind energy, distributed generation, and electric vehicle markets, has been awarded a blanket purchase order from Electric Vehicles International (EVI) for the supply of electro hydraulic steering system units for a fleet of walk-in delivery trucks being supplied to United Parcel Service (UPS), for deployment in California this year.
Stockton, CA based EVI, is a leading manufacturer of alternative energy vehicles specializing in battery electric vehicles (BEV) and range extended electric vehicles (REEV) for multiple applications covering a diverse range of transportation options.

Danotek's Series 6200 Electro Hydraulic Power Steering Pump is an integrated variable speed pump that uses innovative control electronics and high efficiency brushless motor coupled with a rugged high pressure gear pump. The Series 6200, which utilizes Danotek's patented permanent magnet technology, is targeted towards mobile and transportation sectors for light truck steering, utility, farm and earth moving hydraulic equipment as well as various industrial applications. It has built-in diagnostics, fault tolerance and limp home capability.
