The Geothermal Resources Council will present a two-day course in Jakarta before the Indonesian International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition

The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) in cooperation with the Indonesian International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) will hold a two-day geothermal workshop in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 17-18 August, 2015.

The GRC Workshop is being held just before the IIGCE 2015 from 19-21 August. The topics to be discussed are "A Geothermal Conceptual Model & Well Targeting" and "A Geothermal Medium Enthalpy Management".

Three GRC distinguished speakers have been chosen to present: Chun Chin, P.E., Senior Project Manager POWER Engineers Inc.; Kevin Wallace, P.E., Senior Project Manager POWER Engineers Inc.; and Gene Suemnicht, CEO, Chief Geologist EGS Inc.

The workshop will provide practical information to anyone interested in geothermal energy, including developers, financiers, utilities, regulators, public-interest organizations, and members of the academic community.

IIGCE 2015 is held in conjunction with the 15th Annual Scientific Convention of the Indonesian Geothermal Association (INAGA). It represents a golden opportunity for attendees to network with colleagues and potential business partners from around the world, as well as showcasing the geothermal industry in Indonesia.

The conference consists of plenary sessions, technical paper presentations, scientific exchanges and an Expo.
