Vermont-based energy storage system integrator has been chosen by Renewable NRG Systems (RNRG) to provide a mobile energy storage system that delivers reliable power for a remote sensing wind measurement device.

Northern Reliability Inc (NRI), a Vermont-based energy storage system integrator, has been chosen by Renewable NRG Systems (RNRG), a designer and manufacturer of decision support tools for the global renewable energy industry, to provide a mobile energy storage system that delivers reliable power for the WINDCUBE v2 Lidar, a remote sensing wind measurement device.

This will be the second such unit that RNRG has ordered from NRI; the first was a custom designed stand-alone solar-powered system with integrated energy storage.

"Our systems are often deployed in very remote locations where utility power is inaccessible. The ability to supply a mobile power source adds significant value to our products in these applications." The turnkey mobile SPS 12 unit that will be deployed this summer uses solar panels for power generation and battery charging, with the controlling of hardware and software customized by NRI.
