Interested dealers are requested to register until December 12th, 2014

Jena, November 27th, 2014 - Preparations for the production of the electric one-seater Colibri are running in high gear. More than 1,200 pre-orders have been placed with the German manufacturer Innovative Mobility Automobile GmbH (IMA) and over 150 international dealers have registered. IMA will shortly begin the pre-selection process for licensing. Interested dealers are requested to register online until December 12th, 2014 and apply for a sales license.

Colibri Prime: Market entry with limited edition

Initially, the Colibri will be delivered in an almost fully-equipped version, the Colibri Prime, which comes at 10,990 € plus a monthly battery rent starting from 40 €. With its powerful drivetrain, the Colibri is a lively runabout while setting high safety standards in its category, coming with an airbag and ESP. Weather-proof and hence usable throughout the year, the electric one-seater is an intelligent mobility enhancement not only for commuters but also for business customers who wish to add a cost-efficient car to their fleet. Renowned German partners and suppliers ensure the high quality of the micro mobile.

Strong eye-catcher - strategic product range enhancement

For car- and scooter dealers, the Colibri Prime is not only a strong eye-catcher in the showroom. Current market research shows that the demand for a flexible, ecologically and economically sound supplement to the classic family car is growing. This is especially true for cities. Also in the B2B segment studies identify a mid-term market potential of 530,000 customers in Germany, predominantly providers of car sharing services, municipal services, as well as delivery and mobile nursing services. By catering to this trend, the Colibri is the chance for dealers to open up new, future-oriented market segments in the highly competitive vehicle market.
