Romania implements a 2.5MW Solar plant
Romania completed a new solar park project adding 2.5 MW to the country solar capacity.
A solar park project of 2.5 MW produced by the company Energy Day has been installed and connected to the Romanian utility, Electrica, 35 km north-west of Bucharest in just 50 days.
The installation covers six hectares and provides 3.2 TWh of electricity per year to the administrative division Dâmbovita. The solar power plant has been approved by the Romanian Energy Regulator (ANRE) and got six green certificates, among them 4 are immediately negotiable.
More specifically, the project includes more than 10,000 photovoltaic solar panels connected to inverters and transformer stations. In addition to the turnkey implementation of the solar plant to the investor, Day Energy also managed the network connection. The company will ensure its operation and maintenance based on a guarantee of proper operation for two years.
"The 2.5 MW solar power plant is part of a multi-market portfolio structured that Day Energy was able to sign with its diversified strategy of transnational partnerships and cooperation with powerful suppliers. This allows us to differentiate our offers from other key engineering company offering turnkey project. We are able to provide a guarantee of production, which is an important factor for banks. The latter rely on flexibility in providing interim funding and an expertise for granting of such guarantees" said Daniel Nikolov, head of IAC.
