Lincoln Clean Energy Announces Commercial Operation of 250 MW Willow Springs Texas Wind Farm

Lincoln Clean Energy (LCE) announced today that it has reached commercial operation of its Willow Springs project, a 250 megawatt wind farm in Haskell County, Texas. The wind farm is expected to generate approximately 1,000,000 megawatt-hours of renewable energy per year.

Lincoln Clean Energy (LCE), a portfolio company of I Squared Capital and a leading developer of wind and solar projects across the U.S., announced today that it has reached commercial operation of its Willow Springs project, a 250 megawatt wind farm in Haskell County, Texas. The wind farm is expected to generate approximately 1,000,000 megawatt-hours of renewable energy per year.

Combined with the recently commissioned Amazon Wind Farm Texas, LCE has now brought 503 MW of wind energy online in 2017. These projects support hundreds of jobs and provide millions of dollars of investment in local communities in addition to generating enough clean energy to power approximately 180,000 homes annually.
