Boviet Solar USAs New Renewable Power Subsidiary Delivers First Utility-Grade PV Portfolio for North America

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--At Solar Power International this week, Boviet Solar USA announced that its new business unit, Boviet Renewable Power, has developed, financed, and delivered 30MW of solar power installations in Georgia. These new solar projects are the first such utility-grade installations constructed by Boviet Renewable Power in North America, and demonstrate Boviets strengths in project development, financing and project execution, as well as R&D and manufacturing.

The new Boviet Renewable Power subsidiary was formed specifically to deliver high-quality solar generation facilities to help utilities, and C&I customers to meet their renewable sustainability and energy goals. The 30MW solar project portfolio in Georgia is owned and operated by Boviet Renewable Power and the power is sold to Georgia Power Company, which serves 2.4 million customers across the state.

Boviet was recently ranked as a Tier 1 solar module manufacturer by Bloomberg New Energy Finance Corporation. The Tier 1 designation rates solar module manufacturers based on bankability or financial stability and serves as independent validation of Boviets performance as a business partner.
