The US Patent Office has granted Pegasus Solar™ a patent for residential solar panel clamps that make the mounting process faster and easier than ever. This is the third patent Pegasus has received for innovations to residential solar mounting systems.

Pegasus Solar™ today announced that the U.S. Patent Office has issued the company a patent for its solar panel clamps for residential installations, which make the mounting process faster and easier than ever. U.S. Patent No. 9,660,570 is Pegasus third U.S. patent granted.

Pegasus rail-free residential solar mounting systems use the clamps to secure solar panels to residential rooftops. Conventional mounting structures require extensive installation time and awkward maneuvering by installers. Pegasus self-aligning clamps are configured to align the clamping faces instantly upon tightening. The clamps also include a camlock-type action so installers dont have to reach over PV modules to tighten mid clamps at dangerous or uncomfortable angles.
