Ecoplexus Undertakes Development of 25 MW of Solar Installations in California

The portfolio will provide approximately 30.5 gigawatt-hours of clean electricity annually. That is enough to annually power almost 2,000 households, or offset roughly 21,000 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide.

SAN FRANCISCO, July 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ecoplexus Inc., a leading developer of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, today announced a 25 MW DC portfolio of projects across California. The projects are a combination of carport and ground-mounted installations, connecting behind-the-meter at a number of state facilities. The generating systems will provide clean energy to power the facilities, offset greenhouse gas emissions and reduce energy costs.

The portfolio will provide approximately 30.5 gigawatt-hours of clean electricity annually. That is enough to annually power almost 2,000 households, or offset roughly 21,000 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide. The first 7 MW will be completed in August 2015, while the remaining projects are scheduled to complete construction in the spring of 2017. The onsite facilities include state hospitals, military bases and a variety of other facilities.

"We are pleased to play a role in satisfying California's growing demand for clean energy," said John Gorman, CEO of Ecoplexus. "California has set a great example for other states to follow, and we are eager to support its efforts going forward."

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
