Mangan Renewables successfully completed a 2.5 MW solar ground mount system for United States Cold Storage – USCS in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Mangan Renewables successfully completed a 2.5 MW solar ground mount system for United States Cold Storage - USCS in Lumberton, North Carolina. The system generates 3,729 MWh per year, saving 1,855 tons of Carbon dioxide, 2.1 tons of Sulfur dioxide and 1.9 tons of Nitrogen oxides. This new ground mount system will reduce USCSs electric consumption by 22%.

"The solar system for our Lumberton warehouse is one more step of our companys path to use more and more sustainable energy," said Michael Lynch, Vice President of Engineering at USCS. Steve Musselwhite, facility director in Lumberton, added "I like to reduce my operational cost. Powering the warehouse with solar energy is an excellent way to do it." And he went on to say "Any construction at my warehouse is a challenge, so I am happy that the installation of the solar system went very smoothly. It has been a pleasure working with Mangans crew."

HD Boesch, Chief Technology Officer at Mangan Renewables stated "It is really satisfying whenever another solar system is completed and producing electricity at a level that meets or exceeds the customers expectations. Our goals for each system are quality and safety."
