Intersolar - A successful trade fair

A wealth of new products and solutions were unveiled to the interested fair visitors.

Intersolar Europe took place in Munich between June 10th and 12th 2015. The sector's leading trade fair was particularly successful for Austrian inverter manufacturer Fronius. A wealth of new products and solutions were unveiled to the interested fair visitors. The Fronius storage solutions and the two newest additions to the SnapINverter family, Fronius Primo and Fronius Eco, attracted a great deal of attention.

"We'll be going home satisfied and proud of what we've achieved. Our stand was busy from beginning to end and the level of interest shown in our new products and solutions has never been so great. Fronius is moving closer to achieving 24 hours of sun, our vision of a reliable energy supply for the future using 100% renewable energy. To make this a reality, we need technologies and solutions that generate, store, distribute and consume energy in an intelligent and cost-efficient manner. Our customers and partners also know that we're on the right track, so they support and trust us. Something that has once again been obvious at this successful trade fair," commented Martin Hackl, head of the Solar Energy Division of Fronius International GmbH.

Storage solutions were the highlight

The two Fronius storage solutions were the highlight of this year's Intersolar. The combination of the Fronius storage system and the Tesla Powerwall is the ideal solution for situations where space is at a premium, making wall mounting desirable or outdoor installation necessary. "The Tesla Powerwall is an interesting product that complements our vision of 24 hours of sun. Everything ties in well," explains Martin Hackl.

The Fronius Energy Package was another highlight. The Fronius Solar Battery makes this storage system a highly customisable solution in situations in which high flexibility, a long service life and outstanding performance are important.

The success of the SnapINverter series continues unabated

"The Fronius SnapINverter series has been very well received by the market. These are the solutions that our customers have been waiting for," enthuses Martin Hackl. The comprehensive portfolio covering the 1.5 to 27 kVA range is a major factor behind the success of Fronius and the market growth in the past year.

The new Fronius Primo inverter went down particularly well with the visitors. "The optimised energy management system, the comprehensive data communication facilities and the numerous interfaces provide home owners with a high degree of autonomy and peace of mind," explains Franz Breitwieser, Product Manager at Fronius.

The Fronius Eco inverter was also on show for the first time. This is the first string inverter that Fronius is using to address the commercial business. "The Fronius Eco is the ideal commercial inverter. It is easy to service, extremely cost effective and offers the usual high quality associated with Fronius," explains Jürgen Hürner, Product Manager at Fronius.
