Baker Electric Solar Invites SoCal Homeowners to Solar Open House
Baker Electric Solar invites Southern California homeowners to a complimentary solar open house on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Escondido. Attendees will view a live residential solar energy system at a local residence.
Baker Electric Solar, a full-service solar integrator specializing in green technology design / build residential solar and commercial solar installations, invites San Diego and Riverside area homeowners to attend a solar open house on May 18 from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 2558 Douglaston Glen in Escondido, California. Residence owners will join Baker Electric Solar energy consultants in sharing their experience in "going solar" at the complimentary event.
Local residents are encouraged to come out and tour a live and working solar energy system designed and installed by Baker Electric Solar. Attendees will see the home's functioning solar equipment (panels, inverter, solar monitoring, and connection to the utility meter), view the homeowner's actual electric bill savings and ask questions about the system installation and its operation. Viewing an actual working system and providing the opportunity to ask questions will help attendees better understand the benefits of a solar installation.
According to the homeowners, the solar system that was energized 9 months ago has been producing 117 percent of what they had been promised by BES. With previous monthly electric bills averaging $300, the $167.13 monthly lease payment is expected to produce $70,000 savings over the 20-year term of the zero-down lease. Attendees are welcome to bring their electric bills and have a BES solar energy consultant estimate the monthly savings a solar system would provide them.
"With the recent four-year rate increase approval by the state utilities commission, a typical customer will experience a 12.2 percent increase on their electric bill," said BES Residential Sales Manager, Andrew Berlin. "We want to extend our thanks to the Groves for hosting the educational open house at their home. The timing is right for every homeowner to at least investigate if ‘going solar' makes financial sense. Come out and see us!"
As a Baker Electric Inc. family company, Baker Electric Solar, has the history, the backing and the diversification of its parent, a local home and business electrical contractor founded in 1938.
