aleo solar strenghtens market position in Greece and presents innovative solar solutions at the ECOTEC exhibition
new aleo solar High-Efficiency modules make even more efficient use of the sunlight
Oldenburg, Prenzlau, April 16, 2013. aleo solar AG has retained its strong market position in Greece and has been able to significantly expand its customer base in 2012. With a market share of about seven percent, aleo solar continues to be one of the leading suppliers of photovoltaic systems on the Greek market. The German company is known for its comprehensive services and high quality solar system components. In its capacity as "Great Sponsor" at the ECOTEC international environmental exhibition, aleo solar presents its High-Effiency solar modules, storage solutions as well as a practical two-in-one PVT hybrid module which combines photovoltaics and thermal heating within a single module.
The aleo high-quality PVT hybrid module is a solar solution which is ideally suited to the Greek market. The black PV module S_79 with its tailored thermal component from Fototherm on the back side combines the advantages of thermal and photovoltaic solar installations. "This solution is perfect for any Greek roof. It provides hot water and electricity at the same time and is therefore efficient and cost-saving for our customers", explains Thanasis Sakkas, Head of Sales for aleo solar in Greece and Cyprus. The thermal module ensures the optimal operating temperature of the photovoltaic cells by cooling them, thereby increasing electricity production. Potential applications for the PVT module include commercial facilities with high requirements for warm water, such as industrial processes, and hotels with high electricity requirements. In the residential market, the hybrid module is targeted at customers who do not want to compromise on aesthetics and look for a solution that provides electricity and heating for their home based on renewable energy sources.
The new aleo solar High-Efficiency modules make even more efficient use of the sunlight thanks to anti-reflection glass and highly transparent embedding film. The module's higher power output results in a reduction in material and installation costs. aleo solar will also show pure laminates at ECOTEC, which are used for aesthetic solutions in building integration. For storing the produced solar electricity, aleo solar offers a storage solution by the German system supplier E3DC that is suitable for single-family homes and small businesses. It includes high-efficiency lithium-ion batteries with a life expectancy of up to 20 years. They require very little space, are easy to install and operate fully automatically.
The 6th "ECOTEC - Environmental Technologies & Photovoltaic Systems" exhibition takes place in Athens from April 18 to 21, 2013. It is the largest exhibition in environmental technologies in Southeastern Europe. aleo solar is Great Sponsor and exhibits its intelligent photovoltaic products and solutions in hall 3, booth C1. Visit the seminar "aleo solar presents future solutions today" on April 19, 2013, 2 p.m. in room C2 to learn more about the company, its products and services.
