North Africa's leading experts debate the future of renewable energy development in the Maghreb
Experts to join webinar speaking panel ahead of the Maghreb Renewable Energy Congress
With the increased renewable energy activity taking place in the Maghreb Region in 2012, including the Ouarzazate tender and the 850MW Wind Power tender, the award winning organisers of the Maghreb Renewable Energy Congress will be holding a thought provoking webinar on the development of renewable energy in North Africa.
The webinar, which takes place on Tuesday 23 April 2013 at 3pm-4pm (Rabat time) and is COMPLETELY FREE, will bring together leading renewable energy experts to discuss current projects, their financial requirements and economic impacts.
Key topics to be discussed include:
• Unlocking climate finance: evaluating the
current financial situation to determine how much
more is required to reach current renewable energy
generation targets
• How can solar energy act as a creator of
sustainable jobs in the Maghreb?
• Reviewing the progress of the 300 MW Tarfaya wind
farm and exploring the possibility of Morocco
generating 2,000 MW from wind power by 2020
