(STEVENSVILLE, Md. SEPTEMBER 10, 2012) –Nexus EnergyHomes® is breaking ground in September to build South Carolina's first GEOSOLAR COMMUNITIES™ The Sundial at River Birch in Summerville and Sunchaser at Bridlewood Farms in Ridgeville.

The Sundial GeoSolar Community™ of River Birch will consist of twelve final phase lots featuring Nexus' award winning home designs that combine the best in net-zero energy achievable technologies under one roof, allowing the home to produce as much energy as it uses, and saving their homeowners thousands of dollars in utility bills. GROUND BREAKING EVENT

Nexus will hold a groundbreaking event: Thursday, September 20th from: 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the River Birch Clubhouse located at 1054 Blockade Runner Parkway, Summerville SC 29485. The event will feature a commemorative green shovel ceremony, home site tours, a presentation by the President of the NAHB Research Center describing Nexus' 100% commitment as a participant in the National Green Building Certification Program.
