Solar Industry to Release Analysis Showing Record-breaking Growth for Fourth Quarter and Year

Quarterly Solar Market Insight report to be released March 14 by SEIA and GTM Research

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Record-breaking statistics on solar industry installations and growth for the fourth quarter of 2011 and the full year will be released on Wednesday, March 14 by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and GTM Research in the Solar Market Insight: 2011 Year in Review report.


Rhone Resch, president and CEO of SEIA, will describe a historic year in the American solar industry on a media conference call at 12 p.m. EDT Wednesday, March 14. Resch will present analysis of what the new data means for the development of renewable energy in the U.S., the broader energy sector, America's energy security and economy, and American jobs.

Additionally, Shayle Kann, Managing Director, Solar of GTM Research, will provide in-depth analysis on the report's findings with a look at market trends, state rankings for solar deployment and what to expect for the U.S. market in 2012.
