The CSP industry gears up to meet in Delhi

All eyes are on Indian project developers as the global CSP community meets in Delhi on 14-15 March

The 3rd CSP Today India Summit is only one week away, taking place on 14-15th March at the Leela Kempinski Hotel in Gurgaon and over 250 of CSPs most influential figures, innovators and hands-on experts have now confirmed to attend.

The event will bring together leading experts throughout the global CSP industry and will tackle the financial, technical and infrastructural challenges facing Indian CSP, as well as the immediate roadblocks that have hindered the development of a local CSP supply chain in the region.

The impact of Phase I projects on future market growth will form a critical part of the discussion with Reliance Power, Corporate Ispat Alloys, Lanco Solar, Godawari Power & Ispat and Aurum ventures all confirmed to participate. Each developer will provide exclusive updates on their projects; as well as share the critical lessons that have been learned since Phase I bids were awarded under the National Solar Mission in 2010.

Organizers CSP Today also confirmed this week that Areva, Siemens and GE Oil & Gas will sponsor the event to unveil their latest innovations in CSP technologies for India, which will enable solar project developers to maximize performance. Joining them in the sold out technology focused exhibition area are 18 leading innovators in concentrated solar power including Ingeteam, Bertrams Heatec, Rio Glass, Aalborg CSP and Glasstech.

One of the key talking points of the conference is the "CSP Pioneers Session" with participants from Torresol Energy, Abengoa, Ferrostaal Solar, Bechtel and ACME. Delegates will hear exclusive case studies on projects such as Ivanpah, Gemasolar, Solana and Andasol III, and how maximizing performance and lowering costs has been considered during the design and construction of each plant.

The confirmed list of over 250 participants is now online and can be found on the event website at www.csptoday.com/india/attendees.php
