Intersolar Europe, the world's largest solar industry exhibition, attracted 77,000 visitors and 2,280 exhibitors at its 2011 exhibition held in Munich, Germany. The exhibition, held between June 8 and 10, generated great excitement.

In June 2011, 2,280 exhibitors presented their technologies and associated services in the fields of ‘Photovoltaics', ‘PV Production Technology' and ‘Solar Thermal Technology' in Munich's vast exhibition space, covering 168,000 square meters that includes 15 exhibition halls and an outdoor exhibition area. In accordance with the growth of the industry itself, the world's largest solar industry exhibition Intersolar boasted a significant increase in the information provided on all of the topics covered by the exhibition.

SGS Solar Services (http://www.ee.sgs.com/solar-testing-services.htm) was honored to be at the exhibition, and from its booth presented its capabilities in the field of solar technologies including its newly won Certification Body (CB) accreditation. SGS attracted a high number of visitors to its booth at Intersolar 2011 in direct reflection of the market interest in fast, high quality qualification services and solutions for the solar technology industry.
