TROJAN BATTERY ANNOUNCES GLOBAL PROJECT DIRECTOR FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY MARKETS

Trojan Battery Company, the world's leading manufacturer of deep cycle batteries for renewable energy applications, announced that it has appointed John F. DeBoever as director of global projects for their renewable energy group.

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA, August 30, 2010 - Trojan Battery Company, the world's leading manufacturer of deep cycle batteries for renewable energy applications, today announced that it has appointed John F. DeBoever as director of global projects for their renewable energy group. Leveraging over 20 years of experience in the PV industry with an extensive background in domestic and international PV system sales and project management, DeBoever will partner with the company's global sales team to lead battery projects with regards to energy storage solutions for renewable energy applications and energy back-up.


DeBoever joins Trojan Battery from SunWize Technologies, a leading global provider of solar power solutions, where he served as director of industrial power systems. In this position, he oversaw the marketing efforts for various industrial market segments, managed a team of sales engineers and marketing personnel and was responsible for market segmentation, value propositions program development, sales, tactical alliances and strategic planning.

Prior to SunWize Technologies, DeBoever served as product manager on rural electrification PV controllers and director of sales for Morningstar Corporation. He gained added in-depth PV industry experience in his role at Integrated Power Corporation, a Westinghouse Electric Corp subsidiary, as director sales & business development, based in Brussels, Belgium, and Paris, France, managing their EMEA telecom, oil and gas as well as OEM industrial PV systems business.

DeBoever holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and power electronics engineering from the University of Louvain in Belgium. He speaks several languages, including three African dialects.
