August 4, 2010 - Washington, DC - The GridWise Alliance today announced the signing of a partnership with Greentech Media, Inc., who will serve as the Official Interactive Media Partner for the inaugural GridWise Global Forum, September 21-23 in Washington, DC. Greentech Media will broadcast feature panels live on the Internet from the Forum and will house videos and content on their website following the Forum to continue the global, smart grid discussion.

The partnership will enable a broader audience to benefit from discussions and outcomes from the GridWise Global Forum by incorporating streaming video; video clips from featured daily sessions; interviews and reactions from the audience; as well as news and press coverage. In addition to the interactive website, Greentech Media's Smart Grid Analyst, David Leeds, will be moderating the session Meeting Climate Goals - an international discussion on the benefits of smart grid in mitigating the effects of climate change - taking place on the final day of the Forum.

"Greentech Media is fostering this collaboration by bringing to the Forum a multi-media presence that will allow people from around the globe to access and take part in critical discussions about the current state and future of smart grid."

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
