ClimateCare Co-op Helping to Build Ontario Solar Park

ClimateCare, an Ontario-based co-operative of residential heating and cooling contractors, has pledged to be part of the environmental solution by donating a portion of sales of heating and cooling appliances to an Ontario solar energy park.

BURLINGTON, ONTARIO. ClimateCare, an Ontario-based co-operative of residential heating and cooling contractors, has pledged to be part of the environmental solution by donating a portion of sales of heating and cooling appliances to an Ontario solar energy park.

Since April, ClimateCare's members have raised more than $10,000 to support The Sunpark Challenge - an initiative developed by Sunpark Energy Corp.

Participating ClimateCare member contractors have donated one solar cell for every furnace or air conditioner installed. Solar cells generate clean, renewable electricity from the sun's power without greenhouse gas emissions.

"Being environmentally responsible is something all our members take very seriously," says Mario Bernardi, Executive Director, ClimateCare Co-operative Corp. "We're glad to support a venture like Sunpark and are proud to say we've donated more than $10,000 in solar cells to date. We live, work and play in the same communities as our customers, and are committed to making them a better place."

As the environment is directly impacted by heating and cooling equipment, ClimateCare members have pledged to be part of the solution, through this initiative as well as helping customers switch to the most efficient furnaces, boilers, air conditioners and other equipment available today, and through customer education about energy conservation.

The Sunpark concept of using small solar installations that can coexist with existing agricultural operations without adversely affecting the rural landscape is widely supported by the World's media, major corporations, environmental activists, celebrities and ordinary Canadians who believe in taking action on critical issues such as global warming and climate change.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
