The Honorable Edward G. Rendell, Governor of Pennsylvania has announced his confirmation as a keynote speaker at the upcoming Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Wall Street (REFF-Wall Street). The event is poised to be the gathering of the year for top level financiers and CEOs

Washington, DC - The Honorable Edward G. Rendell, Governor of Pennsylvania, has announced his confirmation as a keynote speaker at the upcoming Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Wall Street (REFF-Wall Street), being held June 21-22, 2006 in New York City. The event is being co-organized by the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) and Euromoney Energy Events, a subsidiary of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC.

Governor Rendell will be speaking on the morning of June 21PstP to an audience of 500-600 senior financiers and executives at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.

"No longer is investing in alternative fuels a fringe idea," said Governor Rendell recently. "The E.U. is already five percent dependent on bio-fuels for their cars and expect to get to 20 percent by 2020. If anyone suggests to you that these ideas aren't ready for prime time and cost too much, they are living in the past."

Governor Rendell added, "We are coming to Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Wall Street to drive investment to our state and spur our nation's economy." The conference will address the key questions:

• Where are the VCs putting their money?
• How are wind farms, solar projects and biofuels plants being financed?
• Where are the institutional investors driving the RE sector?
• How did the major IPOs get done?
• What's coming next in RE finance?

"This is a magnificent conference, with lots of speakers who are encouraged to get to the main points quickly," said Keith Martin, Partner, Chadbourne & Parke. "This conference has emerged as one of two or three renewables conferences during the year that attract huge audiences and where one can expect to find all of the main market participants."

CEOs of the largest IPOs in the industry's history will speak, including Per Hornung Pedersen, CEO, Suzlon Energy A/S; Dr. Shi Zhengrong, Founder & CEO, Suntech; and Tom Werner, CEO, Sunpower.
