NUBIA PEREZ NAMED RENEWABLE ENERGY MARKET ANALYST AT CSG

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., March 31, 2006 - Nubia Perez has joined the Renewable Energy Market Division of Conservation Services Group (CSG) as a market analyst.

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., March 30, 2006 - Nubia Perez has joined the Renewable Energy Market Division of Conservation Services Group (CSG) as a market analyst. In this role, Perez is responsible for the marketing and sales of retail tradable renewable energy credits. She also aids in the development of renewable energy policies and advocacy initiatives on behalf of the firm's clients.


Most recently, Perez was an intern at the Massachusetts Division of Energy Resources (DOER). There, she helped lead the "Wind on Agricultural Lands" working group and assisted with the design and implementation of the annual compliance filing system for the Mass. Renewable Portfolio Standard. She also was involved in carbon emissions and biomass energy research, as well as capacity analyses and policy recommendations for small-scale hydropower.

Prior to joining the DOER, Perez was a project supervisor in Brazil for Amigos de las Americas, an international non-profit that creates opportunities for young people to participate in sustainable development projects in Latin America. Perez also has extensive involvement with Habitat for Humanity International, where she was a project volunteer in Anchorage, Alaska; Santa Fe, N.M. and Kenya. She also served as a collegiate challenge coordinator for the organization.

Perez, who is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, is a graduate of St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Tex., where she received a BA in multinational organizational studies with a minor in environmental studies. She obtained a Master's degree in sustainable international development from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. A native of New Orleans, La., Perez grew up in Houston, Tex. She currently resides in Charlestown, Mass.
