On 8th April the Independent PV marketplace www.solarplaza.com will open its business-to-business Trading Floor for the placement of free advertisements. This will provide a single global location for installers who are desperately seeking the latest PV modules and information on their availability.

The Trading Floor will also be invaluable to companies looking to sell their modules at an attractive price. The submission of a Business Offer on the Trading Floor of SolarPlaza will be free during the introduction period. As well as modules, submissions may also be made for associated PV products. SolarPlaza members will have access to all of the details of the products on offer and are able to place a bid on any of the published products.

"In a time when PV modules are difficult to find, a dedicated international Trading Floor can really help the PV market" according to Edwin Koot, President of SolarPlaza. "It is an almost impossible task to contact all distributors or colleagues to see if they are in a position to supply modules. One central contact point in the world enables clients to easily find, select and place a bid on the offers that best fit their needs".

The Trading Floor is anonymous. The bids will be visible to all, but contact details of the bidding and offering companies are withheld. If they wish, the offering company may purchase the contact details of the bidding companies for a small fee, however this is not obligatory. As this facility is free of charge and anonymous, the submission of a Business Offer on this global PV dedicated Trading Floor is totally risk-free. SolarPlaza expects this service to provide an attractive market channel for international PV businesses. SolarPlaza will closely monitor and manage the Trading Floor data input in order to maintain the quality of the biddings. The company will ensure that all data remain strictly confidential and will not be made available to third parties.

Companies with PV modules and who are interested in submitting a business offer can find more information and a special form at www.solarplaza.com.

SolarPlaza is expecting other product offers to follow in the near future. These products are also expected to make a swift entry on to the international Trading Floor. The number of visitors at www.solarplaza.com has almost doubled since its official launch in November 2004 to over 11,000 per month leading to over 130,000 page views per month. The number of SolarPlaza members has increased accordingly with a few hundred new entries.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
