Solar industry "Roadmap" to be unveiled October 20th in San Francisco
Our Solar Power Future outlines the state of solar power today, the opportunity the U.S. has over the next 10 years to regain its position at the forefront of solar power development, and a plan for the future -- including recommended actions for market expansion and R&D.
"Our Solar Future: The U.S. Photovoltaic Industry Roadmap for 2005 and Beyond" will be unveiled on October 20th in San Francisco at Solar Power 2004, the largest business-to-business and business-to-consumer solar expo and conference ever in the United States.
Our Solar Power Future outlines the state of solar power today, the opportunity the U.S. has over the next 10 years to regain its position at the forefront of solar power development, and a plan for the future -- including recommended actions for market expansion and R&D. Solar electric power has matured into a robust, competitive industry with worldwide markets ready for sustained, rapid growth. Our Solar Power Future proposes a roadmap that tailors R&D programs to create market solutions, enhances pollution prevention approaches to focus on clean alternatives, ensures customer choice, and provides targeted incentives that seed the market without distorting it.
