Your company will be exhibiting at SPI & ESI 2019, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?
Solar Power International is the premier trade show in the solar industry. We have been exhibiting for several years and we always kind this show to be one of the best opportunities for our team to engage our customers and discuss upcoming projects. This show gives our company a great platform to showcase our brand and latest products to other industry colleagues.
What makes your booth a must visit for SPI & ESI 2019 Attendees?
Our team will be exhibiting our new Dahlia™ fixed-tilt mounting system. This is a low tilt, low clearance design, aimed to create the highest module density on a given site. The system is typically orientated 4-high in portrait. We will have a small section of this array built in our booth that is pieced together with electrical components from SolarBOS and topped off by the latest and greatest Trina PV modules. It doesn’t get more realistic than this.
SPI & ESI 2019 has many educational sessions, forums & Demo’s, is your company involved in any of them this year?
We are not involved in any demos or sessions throughout the show, but we always have team members attending various sessions to get up to date with the latest trends and topics in the industry.
When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see? Any educational sessions, pavilions etc. you plan on attending?
The best part about shows this big is getting the chance to see some of the new technology coming into the market. With how much solar+storage has grown, there is sure to be a vast difference around the hall from what we saw in 2018.
Energy Storage is undertaking rapid advancements and growth. Give us an idea on how your company and product is being utilized now for energy storage.
We have completed several projects already that include storage, but the key for our company moving forward is to progress with this technology. Storage is going to be the driving force behind how PV systems are designed in the future and RBI wants to position our mounting systems to best serve the needs of storage.
Give us your thoughts on what the future holds for energy storage.
Storage is the future. As this technology becomes more effective, we think it will give birth to a new, even bigger era for solar in the U.S. Any company involved in the solar industry needs to make sure to incorporate storage plans in their product development. Who knows, we may be looking back at what we were doing 2yrs ago as ancient practice soon enough.
