Your company will be exhibiting at SPI & ESI 2019, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

SPI is attended by broad range of companies including many solar developers, product manufacturers, service provider and end users. It is a platform for HPS to demonstrate product solutions/applications to these communities for solar industries. It also gives us an opportunity to network,  share knowledge & experience and to learn from different industries exhibiting at the show.

 

What makes your booth a must visit for SPI & ESI 2019 Attendees?

During SPI 2019, HPS will be exhibiting energy efficient VPI & Cast resin transformers, line reactors and transformer-inverter integrated demo. Attendees can learn various transformer technologies and applications for solar industries. HPS transformer experts will be at the booth to assist with any of the magnetics related queries/challenges.

 

SPI & ESI 2019 has many educational sessions, forums & Demo’s, is your company involved in any of them this year?

HPS will be presenting a Poster Presentation on Grounding Magnetics for Solar Installations on September 24th at 5pm in Booth # 4680. 

 

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?  Any educational sessions, pavilions etc. you plan on attending?

HPS is most interested in new technologies and system design principles for utility scale installations that combine both solar and energy storage technologies. 

 

Energy Storage is undertaking rapid advancements and growth.  Give us an idea on how your company and product is being utilized now for energy storage. 

As a manufacturer of transformers and reactors, HPS’ products will be used to tie energy storage devices to the grid.  Reactor and transformers are also integral components for the electronics which both charge and distribute power from the energy storage devices. 

 

Give us your thoughts on what the future holds for energy storage. 

Energy storage is the next step in a growing worldwide renewables market to provide power when renewable sources such as solar are not available.  We see large market opportunities in the next few years due to market demand and new technologies coming to market.
