nextgen promotes renewable energy generation by offering free consultations with industry experts

These clinics will offer guidance on virtually all aspects of planning, operations and legal frameworks as well as identifying practical steps for businesses to achieve future goals.

1 October, 2012 - London: nextgen, the UK's fastest growing event showcasing

emerging renewable energy technologies, is offering a unique range of free
drop-in clinics with a host of industry bodies, technology developers and
policy makers across the industry.

Aimed at visitors looking to develop green energy projects or those already
involved with renewable energy production, these clinics will offer guidance
on virtually all aspects of planning, operations and legal frameworks as
well as identifying practical steps for businesses to achieve future goals.
One-to-one sessions are being offered by Ofgem, the National Farmers Union
(NFU), The National Non-Food Crops Centre (NNFCC), Agrii and National Grid.

"At nextgen, the one-to-one clinics are another way for visitors to get the
latest policy and technical advice from renewable energy specialists and
plug into world leading industry expertise, products and investment
opportunities," commented Lucy Pitt, group marketing manager of Nextgen
Media.

Besides the clinics, the event organisers have also revealed that the
Environment Agency will be offering advice on environmental regulation,
planning policies and development procedures when seeking permits and
consents for renewable energy technologies. For example, hydropower projects
usually require consent for abstraction, land drainage and impoundment.

nextgen also encompasses ebec, the UK's largest bioenergy show, and
microgen, a show serving small-scale (sub-50kW) power producers. The trio of
events is combined at one location, making it easier for visitors to
retrieve relevant information and to establish business connections. Besides
hosting a major international exhibition, the show also features a
multi-stream conference delivering a range of topical and 'how to'
presentations and panel discussions. Last year, the show attracted more than
3000 visitors and 200 exhibitors.

Showcasing the future of energy generation, nextgen is the UK's fastest
growing event showcasing emerging renewable energy technologies. The event,
co-located with ebec and microgen, will be held on 5-6 October
2011 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. Now in its seventh year, ebec is the
largest dedicated bioenergy expo in the UK while microgen focuses on
small-scale micro-renewable technologies (sub-50kW) under one roof.
Besides hosting a major international exhibition, the two-day event includes
a free conference programme which offers delegates the chance to debate,
learn and network with industry peers. nextgen is supported exclusively by
the industry's leading trade associations - the Renewable Energy Association
(REA), the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), the Micropower
Council and the Solar Trade Association.

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide - the ultimate solution for fast and easy installation of the rail-less RockIt racking system on composition shingle roofs. Smart Slide conforms to UL 441 and TAS 100 (A)-95 for wind and wind-driven rain, providing a super-strong watertight seal that is achieved through compression, in most cases without the need for additional sealant. The waterproofing sealant is embedded deep into the granules of the shingle, thanks to the integrated flexible foam layer that provides cushioning. This ensures a secure fit that conforms to any architectural-style shingle. With UltraGrip Technology™, you can rely on a secure installation, as it absorbs the movement created by thermal expansion and contraction. The pre-installed sealing pads are compatible with all composition shingle roofs, making it the ideal choice, even in ambient temperatures as low as 5 degrees.
