Freedom Solar Power ranks 338th in Inc. Magazine's top 500 fastest-growing private companies in America, putting them in the top 7 percent of the 2016 Inc. 5000 announced last week and recognizing them as the second fastest-growing Texas-based energy company.

Freedom Solar Power ranks 338th in Inc. Magazine's top 500 fastest-growing private companies in America, putting them in the top 7 percent of the 2016 Inc. 5000 announced this week.

Freedom Solar achieved a mind-boggling 1,134 percent growth, with $15.9 million in revenue in the past three years. Only 33 Texas-based companies were ranked in Inc. Magazines top 500, and of those, only nine were headquartered in Austin.

To qualify for the Inc. 5000, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2012, with at least $100,000 in revenue for 2012 and $2 million for 2015. They must be independent, privately held, for-profit companies based in the United States. The average company on the Inc. 5000 achieved a three-year growth of 433 percent.
